Couples joins Langer in lead at U.S. Senior Open

Seattle, WA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Hometown favorite Fred Couples fired a five-
under 65 Saturday to grab a share of the lead after three rounds of the U.S.
Senior Open.
Second-round leader Bernhard Langer birdied the 18th hole to card a two-under
68 and finish alongside Couples at five-under-par 205.
Couples, who was born in Seattle, was the only player to card a bogey-free
round Saturday. His 65 was the low round of the week.
Langer, who is coming off a win last week at the Senior British Open, is
looking to become the first man since Tom Watson in 2003 to win back-to-back
majors on the Champions Tour.
To show how good those two are playing, they are the only players under par
after three rounds at Sahalee Country Club.
Chien Soon Lu carded a two-under 68, while Tom Kite posted a one-under 69
Saturday to share third place at even-par 210.
Peter Senior also shot a 68 to move into a share of fifth place at plus-one.
He was joined there by John Cook (72), Tommy Armour III (72) and Michael Allen
(71).
