injury-time try from Laurentiu Rosu.
A little before the recess, Sevilla went back on top with a 36th-minute score
from Frederic Kanoute, who headed in his team and league-leading 12th tally of

It didn't get better for the hosts in the second stanza, as the 53rd minute
brought another tally for the Red-Whites. Winger Jesus Navas got on the right

against Celta to gain a point in a 1-1 finish at the Ciudad de Valencia, while
an own-goal from Mingo was the difference in Real Sociedad's 3-2 victory over
Tarragona.
Osasuna got its sixth consecutive win in believable fashion with a 4-1 triumph
over Villarreal, as a 50th-minute tally from Ruud Van Nistelrooy carried Real
Madrid to a 1-0 finish over Espanyol, keeping hold of a solid third-place
position in Ligue 1. Atletico Madrid finished up the day with a 1-0 win over
Getafe on a 24th-minute strike from Nuno Maniche, helping move his squad to
the fourth spot on the table.
